through pages.
Top Half Information
The picture above contains a screen capture of the top part
of this web page with each part selected in a different
coloured box. The colours relate to the descriptions below
in order from top to bottom of the image.
Red Box:
This is the header -
it shows the Springlands School logo and name. This will
always be at the top of the page to let you know you are
browsing the site "www.springlands.school.nz". If this
header goes away, you are no long on the Springlands school
website.
Green Box:
These four buttons
"Home, About, Gallery,
and
Contact" are the
primary browsing buttons. Clicking on one of these will
bring you to a main page (or section) in the site. Each main
page has its own sub menu and default content (what comes up
when you click on the primary button). If the page you are
on is under one of the primary sections, the section name
will be displayed above the sub menu:
Pink Box:
These are links to
"sub pages" - pages connected to the section (for example
"Main Page" is a sub page under the home section). Each
section in the site has its own set of sub menus. If the
section of the site has a title it will be displayed above
the sub menu links.
Yellow Box:
This is the title of
the page you are on.
Blue Box:
This is the content of
the page.
Footer Information

different coloured box. The colours relate to the
descriptions below in order from top to bottom of the image.
The following colour references are unrelated to the
aforementioned ones.
Green Box:
This is the end of the page content
Red Box:
This is the copyright and creation mark. The words
"Red Studios" can be clicked to access more copyright and
contact information.
Light Blue Box:
These are "quick links" to the main sections
mentioned in the "Top Half Information" section above.
Orange Box:
These are links to material that does not belong on
any page: Copyright Statement,
About the Website, News Feed (This
is for easy access as the news feed can be accessed through
the home section too), and Website help.
